With Eid-Al-Fitr approaching, I have been looking at quiet a few gifts to give to my family members and friends. I thought of doing something different this year and have decided to hand out flowers to friends & family along with their gifts.

Eid-Al-Fitr is a special occasion we celebrate in the end of Ramadan and marks the end of the holy month of fasting. I was looking for particular flowers that are exceptionally beautiful and fragrant. Being the inquisitive person that I am, I went around in Dubai flower shops looking for something special and came across Kenyan Rose.

Very beautiful in color, it was sort of whitish – pinkish but very appealing to the eye and tingled my sense of smell quiet a lot. I have been looking at a lot of Kenyan Flowers recently and I must say that I am surprised; I did not even know that Kenya is one of the world’s largest producers of flowers and Kenyan Flowers are in high demand around the world.
