As you know we often deliver video content projects for customers, conferences and events seem to be a popular choice at the moment - often people have very grand ideas what they would like from a video production but they simply dont understand exactly how expensive a decent corporate video production in Dubai or anywhere else in the world can be - especially when it comes to delivering a quality job.

1) How many cameras will you need - a simple video just needs one, if you want different camera actions then you will need at least two. More cameras require more cameramen of course so this further increases the cost.

2) What quality do you want to film on - if its for the web a normal for a broadcast DV Camera - if its for cinema or film than you can do with a decent production camera which shoots the cost into the roof.

3) What time period will you need recorded - this relates for the number of days for the crew but also the number of tapes used which again increases the cost.

4) Edit and production value - a two camera edit as a rule takes 3 x the ammount of editing time as filming - editing is a slow process and when it comes to sync with audio its pretty important to get it right.  Then you need to budget for the time for us to work with you to get the edit just right.

5) Interviews - if you want us to do interviews you may well need someone to present the video and conduct the interviews - that needs a presenter again more cost - if its interviews on the fly we can normally find the right lighting - if not then we may need to set up lighting for you - more cost !

6) Media - obviously we really focus on Online video - but quite often you may want DVD copies or even tape copies so you can re-edit.

7) For the picky that want a good quality overall product you may want to consider an introduction animation for your video - normally half a day for a 10 second good quality animation but sometimes up to a day.

8) Web Casting - Online real time Web Casts are all the rage - but unless you are making money with website subscriptions really the cost of the set up in Dubai is expensive - you need a dirrect connection to the internet and then of course a website that will accept streaming audio that we could build or feed into.  Our suggestion go with pre-record unless its critical or have more money than sense.

9) Music - do you want an audio track on the film - and if so how many?  These of course cost money as well.
